Overview:
This program is designed to facilitate the development of local bluegrass musical talent and establish mentoring and support relationships between the faculty, which consists of nationally recognized bluegrass artists, and the participating students. There will be five concurrent workshops with two or three students in each.

Format:
- One-on-one instruction on instruments
- Concurrent music workshops
- Rehearsals for live performance
- Live performance by students on Friday, June 27
Eligible Students:
Open to advanced students ages 13 – 21 with demonstrated skills in the instrument workshop selected. Limited to 3 students in each workshop area with a maximum of 15 students, to enable significant level of one on one and small group instruction.
Student Check-in: Monday, June 23, 3:00 PM at Graves Mountain Lodge
Student Check-out: Saturday, June 28, 9:00 AM
Food and Lodging: Provided by Graves Mountain Lodge
Fees:
All costs for this program, including instruction, room and board are underwritten by the Blue Ridge Center for Music & Creative Arts with full scholarships provided for all accepted students. Donations to the Center by parents of accepted students, as well as the entire community, are encouraged and welcomed.
